The program committee of the EPIC Workshop 2022 invites you to submit abstracts for the workshop. Based on the content and significance to the EPIC programme, we would cordially invite you to hold a presentation on your abstract during the lecture series planned for the 07th of April 2022. Abstracts are requested by February 07, 2022 at the latest and can only be submitted online via this website.

Information and Submission

You can submit an abstract without registering for the workshop. However, in order to attend the workshop, the presenting author must independently register for the workshop.

After providing personal information and uploading the abstract on this website, you will receive an email confirming the reception. Please also check your spam folder.

Following the abstract evaluation process, you will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection for the abstract. Regardless of the selection outcome you will receive a link to register for the workshop. If your abstract has been accepted, you will be guaranteed to participate as a lecturer in the event. If your abstract has been rejected you are invited to register as a regular participant on a first come first serve basis.

The presentation of the abstract will be recorded and streamed live to registered participants attending the conference online. The speaker may or may not give consent to be recorded during the presentation.

Guidelines For Abstract Submission

Abstracts should not exceed one DIN A4 page in Font size 11 spacing 1.15, include name, the title of the presentation as well as all authors and their affiliation and should contain a meaningful image which underlines the content. Abstracts sent by fax or email will not be accepted.

The abstract should cover one or more of the following topics in the field of electric propulsion:

  • Power Processing Unit
  • Propellant Management System
  • Thruster Pointing
  • Testing & Qualification
  • Plasma Diagnostics
  • Manufacturing technologies
  • Industrialization
  • Novel design methods
  • Hybrid Propulsion Systems
  • Other electric propulsion related topics


It is assumed that the first author is the speaker for the lecture series.

Obligation Of The Lectures

The leading author of an accepted abstract commits to attend the EPIC conference to present the paper in the session allocated by the programme committee. In the case of an unexpected emergency (e.g. mandatory COVID-19 quarantine), the speaker may present the abstract online.

Conference Languages

The workshop will be held in English Language. Therefore, abstracts and presentations have to be prepared in English.
